What reason does Descartes give for believing that he has a body?

Decartes reasons that since corporeal bodies exist, at least one of the bodies are closely linked with his mind and that this body is of benefit to him. This judgment is based on the idea that God, since he is not a deceiver, would not lie to him about having a body.
