Triton's realizations about himself and his relationship with Miss Nilli after she gifts him the cookbook?

In Part II, Triton comes to appreciate the role that Nili plays in not only Mr. Salgado's life, but his own as well. Her gift is generous and unexpected, though the one-hundred rupee note the cookbook contained was a complete and total shock. Nili is the first woman to visit the house since Trition arrived there, and her presence has a very positive effect on both Triton and Salgado. After receiving the book, Triton realizes that he feels love for Nili.
