Captain Snow and Squire Julian Gingivere from Redwall are a large white owl and a orange tabby cat. They no longer live together as seeing Ginivere cannot stand his manners. Matthias is told to find the two since Snow knows where the Sword of Martin is, he is sure though Matthias will not return since the owner of the sword is a Giant Adder.
