Who is Callie from Reckless and what is their importance?

Callie is Tinsley's best friend, the governor's daughter, Jenny's roommate and Easy's ex-girlfriend. She is described as wealthy, judgmental, superficial and mean. Callie behaves resentfully and nastily towards Jenny at first, but over the course of the story, she comes to realize that Jenny actually a nice girl and good person.
