Who is Amanda Elliot from Practical Demonkeeping: A Comedy of Horrors and what is their importance?

Years ago, when Amanda was a young girl affianced to Effrom Elliot, who was away at war, Amanda met Travis O'Hearn on a train. The young Travis had just unknowingly called up the demon Catch, and met Amanda on the run. The two nearly became lovers, and Travis left the candlesticks, created from the Seal of Solomon and containing the incantations for calling and sending away the demon, with Amanda. Years later, Travis finally tracks down Amanda, hoping to regain the candlesticks and send Catch back to hell.
