263 Prisengracht is the house where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis during the Second World War, and the house where she wrote her famous diary. The home represents an awakening for Jacob. When Jacob visits this house, he has an extreme reaction when he realizes that the memory of Anne belongs to the world, not just to him.
