William is a character Franklin includes in one of his longer sayings. The character, William, throws his wife out of the house because she is sick. He justifies his action based upon his wedding vows, as he'd promised to keep her in sickness and health. William believes his action reasonable in that he doesn't believe she should return to him until she is healthy or ready to die.
