This man is the translator of this edition of Aristotle's Politics. During his lifetime he served students and faculty members as a lecturer, Dean and quite possibly also researcher. He taught in England at three universities. He was a Fellow at Cambridge, from which he graduated. He also taught at Southhampton and Birbeck, and at the well reputed Queen's College in Belfast, Ireland. There he was a professor of Greek. He is the author of one of the introductions in this edition of the book. He died in 1961.
