What is the climax of Peter and the starcatchers?

The climax in the novel, Peter and the Starcatchers, occurs when Peter fights story Black Stache in order to take the trunk away from him. The trunk, filled with star powder, accidently leaks out and turns the nearby fish into mermaids, who then assisted Peter by attacking Black Stache and his crew.
