Wendy wakes up and asks why he's crying. They introduce themselves, and then in answer to a question from Wendy, Peter says he lives "second to the right and then straight on till morning!" When conversation reveals that Peter doesn't have a mother, Wendy tries to comfort him with a hug, but he backs away from her, saying he must never be touched.
