Anoosh’s reaction on page 66 contrasts from his former reaction in 3 key ways. The first is his body language, where before he was standing tall and strong, on page 66 he is hunched over and defeated. Second is the way he says “Everything will be alright”, when he says it on page 65 he says it with emphasis and passion (shown by the exclamation point at the end) whereas on page 66 he says it with sorrow and trails of in defeat at the end (shown by the …), as if he doesn't even believe his own words. The last key point is the colours and patterns used in the picture, in the first image he is wearing a shirt and checkered sweater, both lightly coloured, but in the second image his torso is merely shown as black, only the outline separating him from the darkness of the background.
