Who is Demetrius from Plutarch's Lives, Volume 2 and what is their importance?

Demetrius was a king of Macedon. He was repeatedly welcomed and then expelled by the Athenians, he defended Macedon against Egypt. Demetrius was captured while invading Persia and later died in captivity.
