Who is Cleomenes from Plutarch's Lives, Volume 2 and what is their importance?

Cleomenes was the son-in-law of Agis and son of Lepidus, Agis' enemy. He forcefully instituted Agis' proposed reforms and also orders the murders of the magistrates of Sparta, successfully usurping their position and becoming a de facto king.
