Comment on language style

Because this is a spy novel, there is a good deal of spy jargon used. For instance, agents work surveillance detection routes to make sure they are black. In plain language, they run the streets making sure no one is following them. They are considered black when they are certain they have left behind anyone who might be watching them. A good many acronyms are used in the novel, like MCD for moving car delivery, SDR for surveillance detection route, and SRAC for short-range agent communications.
