Why hasn't Vivian ever shared her story with anyone? Why does she tell it now?

Vivian's story was too difficult to share.... she internalized her feelings and kept them to herself. Through her relationship with Molly, Vivian is able to use release her negative feelings..... in sharing them with Molly, she also serves to help Molly release her own. As a result, each of them begin to heal from their emotional wounds.
