What is the theme in Oedipus the King by Sophocles?

One major theme in Oedipus the King is that of sight/blindness.... the ability to see. Oedipus is unable to truly see until he is blinded. He could not see what lay in plain sight, until his sight was gone, and he had to look beyond the obvious.
