JJ’s mansion is beautiful, spacious, and impressive. However, it is empty inside. It has no furniture, no decorations, and no comfort. The house, empty of such things, is reflective of JJ’s own life: he has the grandeur of wealth and success, but no love and no passion in his life. His life, like his house, are empty.
