Human relationships are strictly controlled by the Party. Relationships can only be made that support the Party. There can be no loyalty; there can be no sexuality; there can be no emotional connection between outer party members. People simply support the Party under the observations of the telescreens and thought police. Sex is only initiated under the strict control of the Party with partners chosen by the Party. The only reason for sex is reproduction. Children are taken during the day and brainwashed in Party propaganda. Children serve the Party to spy on their parents and adults.
