The novel Night Prey is broken down into thirty-four numbered chapters, each between six to ten pages. Each chapter contains an important element of either the investigation into the killer or an insight into the mind of the killer himself. The chapters flow freely from one to the next, allowing the reader to follow the storyline easily, being drawn into the events that take place.
