Vedado is the site of the party where Elisa first meets Pablo, and the abduction of both Luis and Marisol, Vedado is a crucial area of Havana. It is a place where lives are forever changed. As a result of the party, Elisa and Pablo fall in love. As a result of the abductions, Luis leaves Cuba for good with Marisol. This is a slightly more dangerous part of town, and when characters visit it, they take risks
