The main setting in both 1958-1959 and 2017, Miramar holds the Perez and Rodriguez houses. This is the wealthiest residential neighborhood of Havana, and although it changes over the decades, it fares well compared to many other parts of the city. This is where Elisa grew up, and where Marisol stays during her visit.
