Jasper Hale from New Moon is married to Alice Cullen. He took Rosalie's last name because they looked more like one another. It kept things from looking too suspicious when they enrolled in school. Jasper is the youngest member of the group and hasn't quite gotten past the lust for human blood. When Bella accidentally pricks her finger at the Cullen house Jasper almost comes unglued in an attempt to get to her. He has the additional ability of being able to bring calm over a room and to manipulate the feelings of others.
