In Scene Six, Seada's desperation and mental derangement are vividly portrayed, dramatizing a direct challenge to J.S's beliefs about herself and her work. On a more metaphorical level, this can be viewed as a manifestation of what both J.S. and Melissa believe to be the spiritual, emotional state of all the Bosnian women: frantic, needy, and fearful.
