Ishtar is known by many names. These names include Innin, Inninna, and Inanna. She is the goddess of love and war. In some traditions, Ishtar is the daughter of Sin, the moon god, while in others, the daughter of Anu. When she travels to the Underworld to confront her sister, Good-Looks, sent by her father Anu changes her mind. Ishtar also attempts to kill Gilgamesh with the Bull of Heaven after he refuses her marriage proposal.
