Who is Suzuki from My Year of Meats and what is their importance?

Suzuki is the sound man assigned to film episodes of My American Wife! with Jane. Suzuki is from Japan and he finds treasures in American culture that some Americans might take for granted. Some of Suzuki's favorite things are pornography and Walmart. As Suzuki works with Jane on the show and meets the families being filmed, he begins to change, coming to understand some of the realities of life and the struggle that women sometimes suffer in everyday life.
