Raymond Jacobs is Jessica's father and Kira's grandfather. Raymond died in a car accident when Jessica was a young child. Raymond has been appearing to Kira in the cave since Kira was in diapers. He makes her laugh and tells her stories, like the story of Lin. After Kira dies, it is Raymond who helps escort her to heaven. In a dream, Jessica has had a premonition of this when she sees Peter and her father standing at the mouth of the cave.
