Two important rhetorical strategies used by Goodall are imagery and metapor. One exmple of imagery includes the hunter's killing of a well known lion, the deplestion of a species perpetrated for no other reason than to bring home another trophy. In doing this Goodall provokes emotion in the reaction.

“We have already seen her with the corpses of various antelope, a lion, a leopard and a warthog with the most glorious tusks.”

"Sabrina Corgatelli began boastfully posting pictures ofherself grinning gleefully as she poses with the various animals, she has been killing on herhunting safari".
