After Morena's death, Reymundo moved in with Loca and her two sons for a brief period of time. At first, he was sexually involved with her roommate, Cubana. Later, Reymundo and Loca entered into the most emotionally intense relationship of his life so far. While Reymundo had sex with other girls, he experienced something different with Loca. Most people in the neighborhood disapproved of their relationship due to the difference in their ages. Loca, however, provided Reymundo with food, clothing and shelter. She supported him by dealing cocaine and working as a bank teller. The relationship ended only when Reymundo rebelled against King Chico, putting Loca and her children in danger.
