Much Ado About Nothing

Are there any examples of "doing something evil for what you believe the right reason" in Much Ado About Nothing in any characters? If so, what are a few examples?

A bit more specific would be doing something bad/evil, for an end goal/reason, that they believe is right/good.

I suppose that Don John, the bastard brother of Don Pedro, wants revenge against Claudio. I'm not sure it is for the right reason but he does bad things. He plots against Claudio, first making Claudio think that Don Pedro is wooing Hero for himself, and later making Claudio believe that Hero has committed infidelity.
