What did Presidents Johnson and Nixon have in common as noted in the nonfiction book, Most Dangerous?

Both Presidents Johnson and Nixon were arrogant and egotistical. They were political enemies and fundamentally detested one another, but they had one thing in common when it came to the Vietnam War..... neither was willing to pull out of the Vietnam War and become known as the first president to lose a war.
