When Jupiter visited Lycaon, he was treated very rudely. Lycaon fed him the boiled flesh of a human to test if Jupiter was really a god and even tried to kill Jupiter while he slept. Jupiter was so outraged by this behavior that he turned Lycaon into a wolf and created a flood that wiped out humanity.
