What deal does Perseus make with Andromeda's parents in order to secure their marriage in Ovid's Metamorphoses ?

When Perseus sees Andromeda tied to a rock as an offering to the sea monsters, he makes a deal with her parents that if he can defeat the monsters, he will earn the right to marry her and inherit the family's land. The family agrees, and Perseus is successful with the monsters.
