Who is Mia Townsend from Mercy and what is their importance?

Mia Townsend is new to Wheelock. Mia moves around a lot, never staying in one place for longer than it takes to make enough money to move on. Mia comes to Wheelock and gets a job in Allie's flower shop by showing her creativity in flower arranging. Allie and Mia hit it off right away and Allie takes Mia under her wing. Allie even invites Mia to spend the night in her house. Allie does not see the way Mia looks at Cam or that Cam is returning the look. Mia falls in love with Cam from the beginning because of his good looks and because of the solid life, he lives in Wheelock. Mia has always lived a migratory life, but Cam has roots and gives Allie a life that is full of love and respect. Mia wants that.
