Lawrence van Allen from Revelations, is Allegra's father and Schuyler's grandfather. He had been in charge of the Conclave, but when the scandal came out about his daughter's love affair with the bonded man and involvement in an attack targeting the Blue Bloods, he has to go to Rio. He dies at the end of the book when he battles Lucifer.
