Lawrence van Alen, Revelations (Blue Blood Series), is Allegra's father Schuyler's grandfather. At one time he was the Regis, the head of the Conclave, but because of Allegra's affair with the bonded man, and his granddaughter's invovlement in the attacks, he has had to give up his position. At the end of the story, he dies when he fights Lucifer.
