Gulliver is the main character in Gulliver's Travels. He is an adult male. Some of his journeys are obliquely referred to in different places during the book. One reason is their discussion of size. Proportion and disproportion are entirely relevant to early childhood development. The powers unleashed safely by children who have a properly proportioned environment are repeatedly touted by Montessori and her teaching method.
