Macbeth

Act I Scene III Witches repeat again and again in lines 48–69.

What is persuasive about their repetition of this word?

The words All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, give the witches’ suggestions a sense of validation in Macbeth's eyes. Macbeth likes them hailing him as somebody great. He thinks there is something metaphysical about their predictions.
