How does Bode Gazzer describe the purpose of NATO in the book, Lucky You: A Novel?

Bode tells anyone that will listen that NATO is in a conspiracy to take over the United States and allow minorities to run the country. He also claims that NATO has a hidden base off the Bahamas and that they plan to invade any day.
