Artie is less serious than Jay. He also doesn’t try to please every member of his family like Jay does. Because of this, Arty is considered more honest and straightforward than his brother. However, Arty whines more than Jay because he doesn’t have the same pressure Jay feels. He is used to being pampered by his mother, and Arty cannot understand why Grandma is so cold and authoritative.
