Lost Names: Scenes from a Korean Boyhood

What are the internal differences between the Korean people? How do they influence or affect the book's events?

Thank you

I'm not sure what you mean by differences. As in all cultures, individuals are different.... people, in general, cope differently, react differently.... they have varied levels of inner strength. Some people become complacent, hoping to keep their families safe. Others openly rebel, standing up for their beliefs and accepting the repurcussions.
