Why does Magrat renounce her witchery in the book, Lords and Ladies: A Novel of Discworld?

When the three witches meet to discuss the crop circles, they talk vaguely about the causes and possible course of action. Magrat is furious that the others are being so circumspect, which results in Magrat telling them she'd rather be queen than be a witch.
