which part of the story did you like best?(little women)

I like Jo: she is an independent and free spirit. I thought it interesting when Jo turns down Laurie's marriage proposal. Girls were expected to marry in this era. Instead of marrying Laurie, Jo travels to New York to become a governess for a family.
