Tesla's laboratory is a place of scientific wonder and curiosity, a space which he maintains to the highest standards of hygiene and order. This is the only place where Tesla can fully indulge in his experiments and tinkering, free from judgement and time constraints. It is ironic when it also becomes a place of danger to both Tesla and Paul after it is set on fire. The laboratory is successfully replicated both in Tennessee and in a new office space in New York, showing the capacity of Tesla to replicate his work and to make anywhere a suitable place to work.
