Macbeth basically has a mental breakdown in front of eveyone at the banquet hall. He points at the ghost, which only he can see, and says some pretty self-damning things like,

Thou canst not say I did it. Never shake Thy gory locks at me. Lady Macbeth has to go into damage control and send the guests home for the evening.
