How does the narrator perceive Sensei’s relationship with his wife in the novel, Kokoro?

Soseki believes them to be a happy couple. He also realizes after repeated conversations with Sensei's wife that although the couple loves one another, there is something about Sensei, which prevents his wife from connecting with him completely.
