Chiapas is the southernmost state of Mexico. The state is poor and mostly rural. Claudia and her family pass through Chiapas on their way to Oaxaca, Mexico City, and the Río Bravo. For Claudia, Chiapas feels much to her like home and the sisters pass a pleasant week there.
