William Donovan was a classmate at Columbia Law School with Roosevelt. Donovan was an attorney and Medal of Honor winner. Roosevelt brought Donovan in to be his global eyes and ears. He commanded a group known as the Office of Strategic Services, and his top-secret operatives kept him informed about world events. Information that Donovan would pass on to Roosevelt.
