What was Stalin's plan at the end of Chapter 11?

On Christmas Day the Soviets were hitting the Germans hard in Czechoslovakia and Hungary. Once those nations were conquered, Stalin planned to push on to Berlin. Then if all went as he planned, all of Eastern Europe would be under Soviet Union control. Stalin did not plan to liberate the people from the Nazis. Instead he was enslaving them. Stalin's plans were to expand his global empire.
