Who is Anna Brown from the nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI?

Anna Brown was the sister of Mollie Burkhart and one of the earliest victims of the Osage Reign of Terror. Anna’s disappearance and subsequent murder triggered a series of investigations, none of which made significant progress in finding her killer. It was later determined that Anna was killed by Kelsie Morrison and Bryan Burkhart at the direction of William Hale. The conspirators’ goal was to funnel Anna’s headright to Mollie so Ernest could control it.
