How do the battle plans of Cassius and Brutus differ? What does Cassius’s yielding to Brutus’s judgment suggest about Cassius’s character?

When Brutus and Cassius discuss whether they should wait for Antony and Octavius in Sardis or march to meet the opposing army in Philippi they disagree. Cassius wants to wait and keep his men fresh. Brutus, however, thinks that the enemy is gaining in power every day, and therefore, it must be stopped as soon as possible.

Cassius' decision to follow Brutus' plan speaks to his loyalty and respect for Brutus.
